Boogie in the Park Concert Series
Where: Kure Beach Oceanfront Park & Pavilion - 105 Atlantic Ave

Carolina Beach Farmers Market
Where: Carolina Beach Lake Park - 400 Lake Park Blvd. South
When: Every Saturday, May 18 - September 28
Time: 8AM - 1PM
Not only does the market host a variety of freshly grown foods from local suppliers, but it regularly hosts over 90 rotating vendors ranging from artisans, local musicians, food trucks and incredible crafts. Shop around and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
Fireworks by the Sea & Boardwalk Blast
Where: Carolina Beach Boardwalk - Carolina Beach Ave S.
When: Every Thursday, May 23 - August 30 (excluding Independence Day)
Time: 6:30PM: Live Music Begins.
9PM: Fireworks
Enjoy live music at the boardwalk as well as many family friendly events. Grab a donut at Britts, ride the Ferris wheel or hit the shops. There are tons of business in the boardwalk district for you to explore! Top it off with a spectacular firework show at 9pm. *Weather permitting.
Free Summer Movies at the Lake
Where: Carolina Beach Lake Park - 400 Lake Park Blvd S.
When: Every Sunday, May 26 - September 1, 2024
Time: Movies begin at dusk, around 8:45PM
Come down to the lake every Sunday evening during the summer and catch a free, family friendly movie! The large screen is placed right near the lake and everyone has a great view. Bring your chairs, blankets and snacks. Check back for the 2023 movie line up!
Family Night

Historic Boardwalk Tours
Where: Carolina Beach Boardwalk by the Hampton Inn

Time: 10AM to 11AM
Take a guided tour through the Carolina Beach Boardwalk with a member of the Federal Point Historic Preservation Society. Founded in 1857, Carolina Beach has a rich history, and you'll learn fun facts, past and present! $10 a person, cash only.
Kure Beach Market

Right next to the Kure Beach Pier is the town's largest public green space. Come out and enjoy the views, local goods from crafters, beautiful homemade treasures, local food growers and bakers!
Blakeslee Air Force Summer Concert Series

The best place to watch the sunset is at Fort Fisher! The only thing that could make that even better are live bands, dancing and food trucks! Family friendly.
Pleasure Island Pirate Cruise

Take the kids for an interactive pirate themed cruise with activities and stories for kids! Learn about the real pirates of the Cape Fear and take home recovered treasure!

East Coast "Got-Em-On" King Mackerel Classic
Where: Carolina Beach & Kure Beach
When: July 13 - 14, 2024
An annual tournament at the beach drawing around 200 boats with anglers ready to fish. Don't miss weigh in days and the awards ceremony! Cash and special prize awards will be handed out. Follow their website to register.
