Ocean Dunes 302

Nice place but make sure you bring your own soap/body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. I think it has been 30-40 years since I've been in a rental vacation unit that didn't provide basic shampoo and body soap. The beds seemed very small as well but comfortable. Well stocked unit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 302 Ocean Dunes! The condo is in a great location, was extremely clean, in fantastic shape and provided everything we needed. The towels and sheets were a very high quality. We had one issue with a shower. I emailed the rental management staff and got a very quick response and someone came immediately and fixed the problem. We would highly recommend this condo!

We love this rental because it is close to the pier and we like to fish. We also like that we can drive under to park and our car is protected. It is always clean and well stocked and the beds are comfortable.

Condo was nice And great location. Beds in bedroom was comfy but sofa bed was not so we ended up sleeping on an air mattress. Cleaning crew or the last guest left the fridge open or something and it was super hot when we got there and took it till over night to cool back down, as a results our strawberries that we had just bought got molded. The manager did bring a cooler with ice and was helpful in that way. It would have just been nice to have a fridge that was already cold. Pool was nice and everything else was nice.

This view was amazing. The little trees in the picture not there. Your view is all ocean as far as you can see. Just simply amazing.

Great place to come for vacation. Beach was not too crowded. Loved the visit. Hope to come back again soon.

It was great. The only issues were with the upstairs tenant. His dog was a little yappy. He was also doing maintenance to his deck and debris fell onto our deck.

We rented this place because it is right on the beach where we were getting married! The condo was clean and had everything we needed for the trip. Location was just enough off the beatin path to be quiet but close enough that it only took about 10 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go. We will definitely be coming back!

The property was as described. We found the unit to be exceptionally clean and well equipped. Loved to location and how close the beach was. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sun rise and drinking our morning coffee. I enjoy surf fishing and for a first this year I caught 5 sand sharks. Another first, I use a 2-hook leader when fishing and caught 2 fish at one time. A-1 Property Management was there immediately to correct an issue with the kitchen faucet leaking. It was replaced resolving the issue. We will be returning to this unit for future stays. David and his staff are always gracious and willing to help "personally" and professionally any way they can.

This was a wonderful trip. It is still warm and pleasant in October. The condo is in a perfect area that isn't as crowded as the Carolina Beach area. This was our second stay in this condo. We like that you can park under the building and our cars are protected. You can see the beach area and hear the ocean from the bedroom!

Overall, the stay at 302 Ocean Dunes was fantastic!! Kudos to David and AJ for coming to the rescue for a TV and sink issue. Two areas of concern:

1. There were two chairs outside the front door. I sat on one of the chairs to put my shoes on and it collapsed (rusted away) sending me to the deck and breaking the other rusted chair. I suffered an abrasion on my ankle, but it could have been worse!

2. The linens (sheets) and towels were OK, not great. Would recommend an upgrade!

First - I appreciate that we could rent by the day and not have to rent the whole week. The Weather was awful, but the condo was very comfortable. Location is great. Whole rental process was very smooth.

Always taking a chance with a April getaway so the extra time spent at the rental with the weather the way it was - was well worth it. Comfort to the max.

We enjoyed our time at this condo. It was very comfortable, quiet and clean. The beach wasn't very crowded and we had easy access to it. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to close the blinds so that it was dark in the room.

Loved the condo! Went down on the 28th of August, perfect time-no crowds due to school back in...everything we needed was there...only a couple problems we experienced; in Master Bath-shower door was broken/hard to slide, in other bathroom-drain was stopped up all week-called on Monday-no response til Friday & by then only two days before leaving, so dealt with it--only other complaint, both beds were extremely hard-not one to complain, but worst sleep I've had on vacay-we all hurt during the night & when we woke up each day...would be so nice for owners to consider soft thick bed toppers on both beds for a good week of sleep-otherwise we loved the condo-beautifully decorated, had all the amenities we needed, love Kure & Carolina Beach, saw end of year fireworks-awesome, ate at some of best restaurants, Saturday Market at park with vendors was lots of fun, loved the location, got to see the "green rocks" at low tide, rode bikes, pool was so nice, short walk to beach, beautiful week and perfect views-overall would definitely recommend this property! (Softer mattresses please and we'll def be back next year...lol..)

This was a well kept little condo with an incredible view. We definitely plan on coming back.

The condo is great, location is amazing-right on the beach. Condo was Very clean, all the amenities-top notch. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen had all the tools you need. Practically lived the entire 7 days sitting on that table you see on the photo - just being mesmerized by the beautiful ocean waves and just relaxing! The only negatives I had but they were not deal breakers so I did not call A!- the queen bed in front bedroom of the condo was very squeaky and the mattress not the most comfortable. Also- at the beginning of our stay, the guests directly above us liked to hear their music a little loud (kept hearing the base), which was very interesting when we were both in our respective balconies at the same time. They also spoke in loud voices so we were privy to their conversations but they were only there 2 days but other than that--great vacation. You can tell A1 Property really takes care of this property and I am planning to schedule another vacation thru A1 Property Management again. Kure Beach is a double WOW- amazing place, quiet and simply beautiful.

This is our 2nd year staying here. We absolutely love this place. The view is incredible and the house is so comfortable. I can’t wait to book again for next year. The people at the rental company are super nice and helpful also.

My family and I spent the last week at this beautiful unit! We have spent many weeks at different locations of Ocean Dunes. By far this is the cleanest, most updated unit we have stayed in at a perfect location. Looking to rent this one again for next year. BTW, if you ever want to sell this unit, please contact us!

The property was very clean, and modern. The location is perfect. It is private, yet right there with everything you want to do. Nothing is more than a few miles away. When we return to Kure Beach we want this EXACT property every time. It was perfect for our family. We loved it. 10/10 recommend

This is a perfect quiet location with beautiful views and a bright, clean condo no matter what time of year! We enjoyed longer walks to the Kure Pier and shorter walks to Fort Fisher recreation area. The property managers were very helpful with any questions or issues we had (only one issue with a TV).

Our stay at Kure Beach with A1 Property was great. We found the condo extremely clean with a great view of the ocean. It seems newly renovated and had everything we needed when we arrived. Did not have to worry about losing a key as it had a coded door lock. We give it a 10 out of 10

We had a quiet, fun and small get away from everyday busy life. We were quite happy with the rental property. This property is well decorated with fully equipped amenities. A great view of the ocean and an awesome stay.

My teenaged son and I stayed in this condo for a quick break from the pandemic stress. It was such a lovely, relaxing, quiet time. Watching the water throughout the day and into the evenings was so peaceful. When we were ready to sightsee (socially distant), we had plenty of safe options nearby. The condo was in beautiful shape and really well stocked. Our beds were super comfy and everything was as promised.

We were very pleased with our stay. The house was clean and well kept. The view of the beach was great. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunrise in the morning. The access to the beach was close and accessible. It was nice being only a close drive to Carolina beach and the center of Kure beach. A1 Property Management was nice to work with, they answered any questions that we had and were helpful.

We had a great week at the beach! Loved the condo; everything we wanted. Nicest place we've stayed in during our several trips to NC beaches. Disappointed that beaches accesses near our condo had been washed away. Hopefully, those will be repaired before another trip.
Overall, very pleased with condo.
Loved the area. However, was the 1st week of September, 2020. Even the weather people said it was way hotter than usual. Unable to do some things merely because of the high heat. Loved eating at Big Daddy's. Took the ferry to Southport. That was very enjoyable.

This property was perfect! We had that WOW moment when we waked through the front door! The view was amazing! The condo was well-stocked and had everything we needed for our trip and was in excellent condition. Even though we had a few days of rain, this vacation condo was a relaxing experience. A rainy day at the beach is STILL a day at the beach :-) The fact that the condo was sparkling clean and very comfortable absolutely ensured that our trip was amazing.
Would DEFINITELY stay again! Can't wait to come back.

Had a great time and particularly enjoyed spending time on back deck with the awesome views!! Only had a few minor concerns ... there was a strong dog odor in the place and fish smell from fridge. Opened place up and sprayed Febreze and it contained the smell pretty well. Probably an isolated incident. Washer/dryer didn’t work initially but they responded and corrected issue quickly. Overall, great experience and good value for beach front location!!
